The Nokia 2 was launched in October 2017, it is a budget smartphone budget smartphone targeted at the burgeoning budget smartphone market. The price of the Nokia 2 hasn’t been revealed yet in India, but it is widely rumored to be around Rs 7500. At this price point, its primary opponents would be the Moto C and the RedMi 4A. The Nokia 2 will come with Android Nougat 7.1.1. It will be updated to Android Oreo in the future, something that most phones at this price point will not be able to boast.

It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor and 1GB of RAM. It owns 8GB of internal storage which can be increased up to 128GB thanks to a microSD card. It comes with a dual SIM slot that accepts Nano SIM. Regarding cameras, the Nokia 2 comes with a 5 Megapixel front-facing cameras for selfies and 8 Megapixel rear primary camera. It also comes with a 5-inch HD LTPS display which the company claims is the best in its class and it also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Connectivity options include WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G(support for band 40 used by a few LTE networks). The onboard sensors include the compass, magnetometer, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.

The Nokia 2 at the price that it is available it looks like a winner to us, especially with the claims that the battery lasts an unbelievable two days on a single charge and the fact that the option to upgrade to Android Oreo will be available when the update is rolled out. Nokia probably will face some fierce competition from the other players in the market, but the Nokia 2 looks like it can more than hold its own among the game.
